Hometown: A Closet Worth EnvyingBy Meredith Hornsby Saturday, March 20, 2010
Meredith Lunceford
"We want everybody’s closet to be the most enviable," says Meredith, explaining how she named the boutique. Flying on Air Tran, Meredith travels to Atlanta and New York to buy clothes for the store. "When I go to shows I'm looking at the next season, about nine months in advance. I think you have to have an eye for fashion and really know who you are buying for." What's hot for spring fashion? Meredith says you'll find it at Closet Envy. "There will be lots of bright colors: orange, pink and navy, big floral prints, and brightly colored t-shirts," she says. She also has a wide selection of jeans in a multitude of styles - and Meredith promises that means they have jeans to fit everyone. Meredith has a natural sense of fashion, evident in what she wears and how she wears it. Her mission is to invoke confidence in every woman who walks into her store. "We want to make sure that everyone who comes into our store leaves happy and leaves knowing they are going to look great," she says. "We make sure that you don't just look okay - you look fabulous!" When Meredith takes time off from fashion, you can find her relaxing on the James River with her family. When I'm not writing the Hometown Blog, you can find me at Closet Envy!
