Toys R Us Coming to New Town

Toys R Us, the national toy-store chain, is opening a small store in New Town soon.

The company will be opening a Toys R Us Express in the spot where PacSun used to be on Main Street, according to New Town leasing agent Nathan Shor.

The popular retail toy company opened their new line of smaller “Holiday Express” temporary stores in 2009 to capture the holiday market by offering a limited selection of popular toys inside malls and shopping centers through the season. The idea was popular enough that the chain has kept the idea and dropped “holiday” from the name.

Shor did not offer a date when the location would open or whether the store will be open only for a short while.
