Virginia Company Bank Breaks Ground on High Street BranchBy WYDaily Staff Friday, May 06, 2011 Changes are coming at Virginia Company Bank, with the latest move heralded by the clink of golden shovels Tuesday at High Street.Members of the Board of Directors were on hand to break ground on the five-year-old bank's new office for Williamsburg in the High Street development. “We are looking forward to moving to our first free-standing location in Williamsburg,” said Bank President and CEO Mark Hanna. “High Street is a great development and a location we feel will allow us to better serve our existing clients, as well as attract new ones.” Located on Richmond Road, the new banking office will be about 10,000 square feet and feature a traditional design by Caro Monroe Liang Architects. The second floor will house offices, as well as meeting space that will be available to local civic organizations. A three-lane drive-through is also planned. Construction will be completed by Oyster Point Construction. Virginia Company Bank has branches at Oyster Point in Newport News, Coliseum Central in Hampton, and New Town in Williamsburg. The Williamsburg office at New Town, led by Retail Market Manager Don Rudy, will relocate to High Street in late 2011. |
