Chipotle Serves Up Free BurritosBy Amber Lester Wednesday, March 24, 2010 Fans of burritos the size of footballs, take note: Chipotle will open its doors to Williamsburg this Friday.But Thursday, the chain restaurant specializing in Mexican food made-to-order in front of customers, will offer free burritos to customers between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. The restaurant is located at the former location of the Rodeway Inn, at the intersection of Richmond and Bypass Road roads, directly across from High Street. The Williamsburg City Council will celebrate the business’s opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Chipotle, founded in 1993, uses organic ingredients and naturally raised meat, such as free-range chicken. The menu consists of burritos, fajita burritos, burrito bowls, tacos and salads.
