York Seeks Suspect Who Assaulted Child

York County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for a man who sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl at Great Wolf Lodge on Thursday night around 8:30.

York Sgt. Dennis Ivey, Jr. said the girl was in a hallway on the fourth floor, near the stairwell by the lobby, when the suspect approached and touched her inappropriately.

Investigators were able to obtain a good description, Ivey said. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned white male with dark curly hair streaked with grey. He was last seen wearing a red short-sleeve T-shirt and black pants with stripes down the sides.

The girl was playing the lodge's scavenger hunt game while her family checked in nearby.
