Presidents Day Closings

If you live or do business in York County, your access to the county’s Web site will be limited Monday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Provided the weather holds Dominion Power will be replacing the electrical service feed to the county’s network operations center. County offices will be closed for Presidents Day, but county phones and voicemail will be down, too, as the power company does its work.

Other closings Monday in observance of Presidents Day include:
All state and federal offices, including the Department of Motor Vehicles and courts, will be closed.

City of Williamsburg - City offices closed, but all scheduled trash pickups will go on as planned. Williamsburg Regional Library will be open.

James City County - County offices closed, but library is open.

Williamsburg James City County Public Schools will be closed.

York County landfill will be closed, but regular trash pickup will occur.

York County Public Schools will be open to make up for a snow day.
