Overnight Snow Causes Cancellations - Updated 6:30 A.M.

Three words: More snow days.

Yet another overnight snow storm has resulted in closure of public schools in the Historic Triangle. If you have cancellations or postponements, email them to contactus@wydaily.com and we'll post them.

Williamsburg-James City County School Division will be closed Wednesday to students and teachers. Administrators and support staff are to report on a two-hour delay.

York County School Division is closed Wednesday to all students, teachers, administrators and support staff.

 

York County government offices will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Poquoson City Schools are closed; 12-month employees report on a two-hour delay.

Gloucester Public Schools are closed; 12-month employees report at 10 a.m.

Newport News Public Schools are closed; 12-month employees report on a two-hour delay.

Hampton City Schools are closed.

Providence Classical School is closed.

Thomas Nelson Community College - Historic Triangle and Hampton campuses are closed.

Williamsburg Christian Academy is closed.

Summit Christian Academy is closed.

Williamsburg Montessori School is closed Wednesday.

There is no ice on the roads like last time, but hydroplaning is a real problem. It is pretty much like someone dumped a huge slurpee on the roads. Everywhere you go, the water/slush is about 3" deep. A guy in a Suburban went into a hydroplaning spin on the interstate and took out the car behind me. Slow down and enjoy the scenery!
