City Police Seek Missing College Student

Williamsburg police are searching for a College of William and Mary student who has been reported missing.

Police say 21-year-old Ian Kramer Smith-Christmas was last seen Saturday around 9:30 p.m., leaving his off-campus apartment in the 800 block of Westgate Circle in the city.

Smith-Christmas is a junior from Stafford. He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He has green eyes and blond hair.

Police say he may be driving a silver Ford Taurus with Virginia registration YPC 9783, which is owned by his parents.

Foul play is not suspected.

College spokesman Brian Whitson said W&M officials are in close contact with Smith-Christmas' family.

Anyone with information regarding Smith-Christmas is asked to call Williamsburg Police Investigator Michael Rice at 259-7207 or 220-2331.
