Water Country USA Announces Discounted Summer Passes for Virginia Residents

Water Country USA will open this Saturday, and this season the park is offering Virginia residents a special deal.

Until June 30, state residents can pay for a day and enjoy the entire season of rides, slides and fun in the sun with the Water Country USA Summer Sizzler pass. Virginia residents can pay the single-day admission price of $42.95 and get unlimited visits to Water Country USA through September 6, the park's last day of the 2010 season.

The Summer Sizzler pass does not include parking, which runs $13 per vehicle for general parking and $18 for preferred parking. For complete details and to purchase passes, click here.

The mid-Atlantic’s largest water park features more than 30 water rides and attractions. This year marks the debut of the park’s a new dive show, “Aquabatics!” featuring trampoline acts, aquatic trapeze acts and high diving. And this July, Water Country USA celebrates the summer with five “Wipeout Weekends” that will feature great local music.

Water Country USA opens for the season May 22 with weekend operating hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily operation begins May 28.
