New Schedule for Yellow Line, Trolley

1trolleyThe Williamsburg Area Transit Authority is launching its seasonal yellow line on Saturday, May 29, connecting the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center with Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. The service will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, extending to 10 p.m. after June 19. The line will cease operations on Labor Day.

WATA is also switching its trolley line, which goes between New Town, High Street, and Merchants Square, to its seasonal schedule on May 29. From noon to 3 p.m., the trolley will not stop at Jamestown Road, instead running directly between its other three stops to facilitate direct lunchtime traffic for residents and tourists. After 3 p.m., the line will engage in its regular route.

The changes will take effect Monday through Saturday, with the Sunday schedule remaining unchanged.

Time after time after time, every day out and about our town, researching and photographing, this local person, who honestly cares, STILL considers the local "trollies" as the "LONELIEST JOB IN TOWN!"
