Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Dennis Ivey, Jr. said numerous tips had led to White as a suspect. Investigators have warrants on file for one count on each of these charges: armed roberry, grand larceny and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Ivey said the suspect entered the Bank of America branch on Richmond Road around 9:54 a.m. Wednesday and displayed a note to the teller that indicated he was armed and demanded cash.

The teller complied with the note, and the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen heading west out of the bank toward the rear of neighboring businesses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
