Mike Hurley taught my son and daughter at Mathew Whaley and he was absolutely the best teacher they have ever had. They still talk about him (and his short man stick) now with smiles and laughter. He is wonderful and we wish him the best!

CONGRATULATION MIKE! I am so glad you made it to the administrative side of school. Your teaching skills and personality make you irreplaceable in the classroom, but you will also be a great asset to Mr. Jacobs and Matoaka as the assistant principal.

That's awesome, and well deserved. Mike is a great guy, and from what I hear, one of the best educators around.

Great pick!

Matoaka students are fortunate to have Mr. Hurley in their school and as assistant principal. As a former Matthew Whaley parent, I also remember Mr. Hurley as a magical teacher.

I am so very happy that after years of serving children and parents at Matthew Whaley and Matoaka, the best teacher in the world is finally being rewarded with the promotion he so richly deserves. I know he will be missed in the classroom, but sadly there is only one Mr. Hurley in the world. Congratulations .
