York Man Charged with Sex Crimes Against Child

A York County man is being held at the Newport News Jail on a dozen felony charges related to allegations he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl.

Dwayne Anthony Grigoleit was arrested in Newport News Tuesday on York County charges, York County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Dennis Ivey, Jr., said.

Grigoleit is charged with five counts of having carnal knowledge of a child between 13 and 14 years old without force; five counts of object sexual penetration by force; a count of aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13; and one count of taking indecent liberties with a child, Ivey said.

The 38-year-old is accused of crimes against the girl that occurred many times between Sept. 7 and Oct. 4 at a home on Route 17 in the county, Ivey said.
