Weather Cancels After-School Activities

The York County School Division has announced that all after-school activities, athletic practices and athletic competitions scheduled for today have been postponed due to weather conditions.

The following boys basketball games have been postponed, with make-up dates to be announced: Jamestown at Bruton; York at Smithfield; Grafton at Tabb; Poquoson at Warhill and Lafayette at New Kent.

The regularly scheduled York County school board meeting will take place as scheduled tonight, with the exception of the student recognitions and Accent on Academics. Those will be rescheduled to the January 24 board meeting.

All after-school events for the Williamsburg/James City County school division were on as scheduled, except athletics. All games have been postponed.
