JCC Police Investigating Related Burglaries

James City County police are investigating a series of burglaries that occurred earlier in the month which are likely related.

Four homes were broken into between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on December 9. Two of the homes are on Fenton Mill Road, one is on nearby Newman Road and one is also close by on Wrenfield Drive, according to police spokesman Maj. Steve Rubino. The homes all showed signs of forced entry.

Due to the close proximity and timing of the crimes, they’re likely related, according to Rubino.

Stolen items included electronics and jewelry.

Police are investigating leads. Anyone with information on the crimes should call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Could these be related to the series of burglaries on Forge Road in Toano before Thanksgiving? 3 or 4 homes, daylight, electronics... Nothing about this has ever appeared in the news nor were neighbors notified to be alert and report suspicious activity.
