Shots Fired into York Co. Home

York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office investigators are looking for witnesses who may have seen a car from which several shots were fired into a home Thursday night.

Around 10:10 p.m. unknown suspect(s) fired at a residence in the 300 block of Barlow Road in the upper county. The house was occupied at the time and, while several bullets struck the residence, "luckily no one was shot or injured," sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Dennis Ivey, Jr., said.

Ivey said the gun apparently used was a 9mm pistol.

A Nissan Altima driven by a black male was seen in the area before and after the shooting. No other information was available about the car or driver.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
