Grants Available to Beautify JCC Neighborhoods

James City County is again offering Neighborhood Beautification grants to ten neighborhoods this spring.

Neighborhoods and homeowner associations have until March 31 to apply for one of ten $500 awards through the 2011 Neighborhood Beautification Matching Grant Program.

The Program, sponsored by the James City Clean County Commission, enhances the sense of community through neighborhood involvement in the development and accomplishment of a neighborhood project.

Categories are Physical Improvement/Beautification and Multi-Neighborhood Project Partnerships.

The $500 grants will be awarded sometime in the spring. The application is available on the James City County website.
