Bank Robbery Suspect Sought in James CityBy WYDaily Staff Tuesday, March 22, 2011

The man entered the BB&T Bank at 100 McLaws Circle at 3:38 p.m., James City police spokesman Maj. Steve Rubino said in a release. The suspect handed a teller a note demanding money but, Rubino said, did not display or imply a weapon. The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was headed east towards Pocahontas Trail. The suspect is described as a black male who wore a dark green jacket, blue and white plaid shirt, black pants and a black "do rag" on his head.
