City Police Investigate Car Break-Ins

Thieves broke into a number of locked vehicles this week, and Williamsburg police are looking for help from the public to solve the crimes.

Between the hours of 6 and 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 and Thursday, March 25 thieves broke into seven vehicles parked in the 2000 and 3000 blocks of Richmond Road, police said.

Taken from the vehicles were items including money, credit cards and small electronics.

Police do not have any suspect information. Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area on the dates mentioned is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the Williamsburg Police Department at 220-2331.
