Water Main Break on Ironbound Disrupts Service

A water main break caused by an independent contractor has cut water service along the Ironbound Road area of James City County.

Affected neighborhoods include Powhatan Crossing and Powhatan Springs Road and businesses located in the area of Ironbound Road near Oaktree Office Park.

County officials say service should be restored by early evening.
