Rain Brings End to Burn Ban in YorkBy WYDaily Staff Monday, May 02, 2011 York County Fire and Life Safety officials have lifted the county-wide burn ban enacted earlier this spring.Recent rainfall, coupled with the growth of grass, plants and trees have reduced the risk of uncontrolled wildfire spread.
