Robbers Make Off with Jewelry

Williamsburg police are investigating a Thursday morning robbery in the 800 block of Capitol Landing Road.

The victim told police that around 9 a.m. one male suspect, armed with a knife and clad in a blue jumpsit, gloves and mask, approached him at his vehicle and demanded the car keys.

While the armed suspect distracted the victim, a second male suspect entered the victim's vehicle and took a bag of jewelry. The victim was unable to give a description of the second suspect.

The first suspect fled on foot toward Parkway Drive. Police do not know how the second suspect left the area.

No one was injured.
