Armed Robbery at Upper York Timeshare Office

York Sheriffs investigators area looking into an armed robbery Thursday night at an upper county timeshare office.

Around 9:48 p.m. an unknown suspect entered the Colonial Crossings timeshares office lobby in the 200 block of English Garden Way in the Williamsburg area of the county. The suspect, described as a black male about 6 feet tall and wearing all-black clothing, a mask and gloves, entered armed with a small handgun. He demanded money from the front desk clerk and a night maintenance man and, once they handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled.

Police have no information about whether the suspect left on foot or by car, or in which direction. Witnesses were able to offer the detail that the right rear pocket of the suspect's pants had some sort of embroidery on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
