Weapon Implied in Pharmacy Robbery

An unarmed man robbed the Walgreens pharmacy on Richmond Road Sunday around 9:26 p.m.

Williamsburg Police said a man dressed in all black and wearing gloves and a mask entered the store and vaulted over the pharmacy counter. Acting like he had a weapon, the man demanded narcotics from the pharmacist. After getting an undetermined amount of narcotics, he jumped the counter and fled the building.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Why is the description of the perp left so vague? Are the police being politically correct, again? And how could an all-black dressed man, with mask, walk into that front door, go down an aisle the distance of the store and no one working there not sound an alarm? This brazen robbery, this time, next door to a previous bank robbery, is getting real scary in our town.
