Today: Mormon Tabernacle Choir Live at CWBy WYDaily Staff Tuesday, June 21, 2011 The secret is out.The special event Colonial Williamsburg has been advertising for the past few days is special, indeed. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will pull over the tour buses and perform a special "flash concert" today at 11:30 a.m. at the east end of Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area. The 325-member Choir made their first-ever appearance in Hampton Roads last night at the Norfolk Scope in a Virginia Arts Festival performance. They are scheduled to perform tomorrow night at Wolf Trap, near Washington, D.C. Visitors - and area residents and workers - are invited to attend the impromptu concert and take photos as it unfolds. Admission to the Historic Area is included in the CW ticket, as well as the Good Neighbor Pass, although tickets are never required to walk through the area. |
