City Police Seek York Man in Shooting Incident

Williamsburg Police are looking for 27-year-old Demaris Lee Robinson of York County for shooting at an occupied vehicle at 11:30 p.m. July 6 in the 1600 block of Richmond Road.

The victims told the police they were driving through the parking lot of a Richmond Road business when the man they identified as Robinson pulled out a gun and fired at the vehicle. Police said the victims claimed no history with Robinson. No one was hurt during the incident.

Williamsburg Police obtained warrants for Robinson’s arrest today, July 7, charging him with shooting at an occupied motor vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Robinson resides in the 100 block of Park Circle in the Carver Gardens neighborhood of York County.

Where in the world is all this mess coming from? First armed robberies and now two "drive bys" in as many days. I can't ever recall such a quantity of violent crimes in such a short period.
