The polls will be open today from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Republican primary election. Although the primary is Republican, all registered voters may cast ballots, regardless of party affiliation.
The following candidates will appear on local ballots:
Virginia Senate District 3
Incumbent Thomas K. Norment, Jr. and Mark C. Frechette
York-Poquoson Commonwealth's Attorney
Incumbent Eileen M. Addison and Benjamin M. "Ben" Hahn
York County Board of Supervisors
District 1: Incumbent Walter C. Zaremba and Mitchel E. Thomas
District 2: Incumbent Sheila S. Noll and G. Frank Barger
District 3: Incumbent Don E. Wiggins and Robert E. "Bob" D'Eramo
District 4: Incumbent George S. Hrichak and Jim R. Haas

James City County voters will choose in just one race: the District 3 State Senate contest between Tommy Norment and Mark Frechette. If you live in James City County, click here to see in what precinct your street is located.
Because of redistricting and a lack of primary contests, City of Williamsburg residents will not vote in Tuesday's election.

But who is this Frechette guy? I've not heard anything about him.
Just more eveidence, I think, that government is not working right.
