Martin's Gas Station Opens

Martin's new gas pumps will be open for business starting Wednesday morning.

The 10-pump station, just down the road from Martin's on Monticello Avenue, will have a pay-at-the-pump feature. Martin's offers a fuelperks program that will launch locally in the next few weeks; it gives customers using a Martin's bonus card a 10-cent discount per gallon of gas for every $100 spent in the store.

“This is Martin's first fuel station in the Williamsburg area and we are excited to showcase to our customers the great combination of value we provide both inside our stores and outside at our gas pumps,” said store manager Dean Sculthorpe.

The pump station will offer gas mitts to keep customers’ hands clean along with waterless hand soap, in addition to free air for tires. The store’s gift cards can be purchased and redeemed at all fuel sites, including the new one.

The pump station will open at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Do they have generator back-up so that the pumps will work during power outages?
