No Arrests in Friday Stabbing in James City County

Maj. Steve Rubino of the James City Police Department said there are no arrests in the Friday night stabbing of 27-year-old Tabitha Russell of Judy Drive in James City County.

Rubino said in a press release that Russell died at 9:29 p.m. from a stab wound to the throat after a physical altercation with another adult female and other individuals in the Windy Hill Trailer Park on Judy Drive.

Russell was pronounced dead at the scene. The police have questioned a number of individuals and witnesses, according to Rubino.

The homicide remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.

Tabby was my very close 1st cuz. I can only pray 4 the 1's who did this to her. Someone has the answer & we deserve it. We can not put her body to rest until. PLEASE som1 speak up and help we her family have peace and justice knowing the murderer is behind bars. She didn't deserve this. Please every1 keep praying that her killer(s) r caught!!!

Tabby was like a sister to me, this is a shame. It should of NEVER happened. Please find the little kid that took her away from us. Lord just know you got a GREAT Angel now. Please look over us and we LOVE you so much

I was so shocked to pull in my neighborhood to find that its blocked off by like 7 cops all with lights on in ambulances I was like the in the world going on! So I went a diff entrence to get to my house n then I hurd the bad news I didn't know tabitha but trust in believe everyone deserves a life n for her not to have a chance was wrong I hope justice is found do to the fact it happnd a few homes up the street from me only tabitha an god knows what happnd but this community is not small n I'm sure some one saw something! I just hope n pray that justice is found soon! R.I.p tabitha! So sad of a story :-x
