Cyclist Found Dead in York Friday

The body of a 57-year-old black male was found next to a bike Aug. 25 on the 200 block of Hubbard Lane in York County, according to Dennis Ivey, Jr. of the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

Ivey said it appears the man died of natural causes, but the Sheriff’s Office is waiting on autopsy results to confirm the cause of death. The body was discovered facedown next to a tree on service road near James York Plaza and Hubbard Lane. The man's identity has not been disclosed, but he was found beside a mountain bike about five or six feet away from the road.
