Crime Line: Attempted Abduction in Upper York

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Is looking for information about a man who attempted to persuade a 16-year-old girl to get into his vehicle Sept. 2 in the area of Barlow and Skimino Road in upper York County.

The suspect approached the female at 12:30 p.m. last Saturday while driving a white Ford Explorer-like SUV, with a cream-colored stripe that goes from the front to the back of the vehicle. The victim said the suspect was black and appeared to be in his mid-40s.
