Two Robbed at Gunpoint in Coventry

Two people were robbed at gunpoint around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 in a parking lot around the 500 block of Wrought Iron Bend in Yorktown, according to a press release from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

The male and female victims were robbed in the Coventry neighborhood by suspects described as two black males in their early to mid-twenties. The suspects are both 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall. One suspect was wearing a gray T-shirt and the other was wearing a blue T-shirt.

During the robbery, the suspects displayed a small, semi-automatic handgun that was dark in color.

No one was injured and the suspect fled on foot.
