City Police Arrest Man for Sex Assault on Minor

Williamsburg Police arrested a 38-year-old Williamsburg man today who is believed to have sexually assaulted a minor over the past three years.

According to Williamsburg Police, Eddie Ray Arrington Jr., whose exact residence is unknown, was charged after an investigation into allegations of sexual assault of a minor that occurred in the 300 block of Dunning Street since 2008.

Arrington was apprehended without incident in the 1000 block of Penniman Road. He is being charged with one count of forcible sodomy of a minor.

The name and age of the victim are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the child.
