UPDATE: City Police Locate Runaway Juvenile

The Williamsburg Police Department is thanking the public for its help in locating a missing juvenile Thursday.
A 16-year-old girl was last seen leaving her residence in the city Wednesday morning for school. The girl's mother discovered in the evening that her daughter did not attend school that day and had taken some personal items with her.

Police spokesman Maj. Greg Riley said the girl returned home Thursday evening. She was unharmed and foul play was not involved.

Shouldn't the title of this article read: Runaway Comes Home? The article fails to articulate how, if at all, the Williamsburg Police Department played any role in her return.
