CW Included in 'Places to See Before You Die'By Amber Lester Kennedy Sunday, December 04, 2011
Colonial Williamsburg and the Colonial Parkway were mentioned in author Patricia Schultz’s revised version of her 2003 best-seller “1,000 Places to See Before You Die – A Traveler’s Life List.” In her book, Schultz calls CW “a treat for both adults and kids,” adding the level of detail is “astonishing.” She recommended travelers check out the Fifes and Drums, the Williamsburg Inn and Colonial Houses, the taverns, the Spa of Colonial Williamsburg and the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. She also recommends travelers take a drive on the Colonial Parkway, which she notes is a connection to Jamestown and Yorktown.
