YC-CL-tankzero
The York sheriff's office reports a yellow Tank Zero-Turn riding mower like the one pictured above was among thousands of dollars worth of lawn equipment stolen sometime over the Thanksgiving holiday from two York businesses.
Unknown suspects targeted two York County gardening stores during the Thanksgiving holiday, stealing lawnmowers and a utility vehicle.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects stole two "Dixie Chopper" riding lawn mowers between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28 from Turf & Garden, located in the 100 block of Burts Road.

Both riding lawn mowers were silver in color; one was a "Classic" model, the other an "LT2400" model.

Around the same time, unknown subjects stole a green Cub Cadet 4x4 Utility Vehicle (854CC diesel Trail Model) and a yellow Tank Zero-Turn riding lawn mower (72", diesel model YNMR) from Steve's Lawn & Garden in the 5000 block of Route 17.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Out of curiosity, how does a THIEF get away with moving and hiding and selling these H-U-G-E pieces of machinery? Did they drive down a street? Slip 'em in the trunk? Cut them up?
