Alliance to Host Legislative Forum

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance will hold its annual pre-legislative forum next Wednesday.

The General Assembly will reconvene early in the new year, and one of its first orders of business will be looking over the Governor’s proposed budget. It is a new year in more ways than one, as there are new faces in the GA after last November’s election who are ready to get started.

Representatives for the Historic Triangle in both the state House of Representatives and the Senate will be on hand to answer questions from both the moderator and the audience. The moderator is the Alliance’s Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee Mark Duncan.

The forum will take place Jan. 4 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Fort Magruder. There is no charge to participants, and there will be a continental breakfast available to attendees.
