Jamestown Tour To Be Featured on CSPAN3By Amber Lester Kennedy Saturday, January 07, 2012 Archaeological work at Jamestown will be featured on CSPAN3 American History TV this weekend, in an episode of the channel’s American Artifacts series. Dr. William Kelso, the chief archaeologist with the Jamestown Rediscovery Project, will lead the cameras on an “In the Trenches” tour of the island’s archaeological sites. The program will air at 8 a.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday. Guests can take the “In the Trenches” tours in small groups from April to October. The tours allow guests to go inside the ropes and explore the land where Captain John Smith, Pocahontas and John Rolfe once lived and worked. For more information, click here. |
