Tickets On Sale for Third Eye Blind Concert at WMBy Amber Lester Kennedy Saturday, January 07, 2012
Tickets can be purchased online here. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Kaplan Arena at William & Mary Hall. Tickets are $15 with a valid William and Mary ID (limit one per ID) and $25 for the general public. Ticket prices will increase $5 on the day of the show. Third Eye Blind has had a string of hits since the band formed in the early ’90s, including “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper” and “How’s It Gonna Be.” The band has won a Billboard Music Award and been nominated for two American Music Awards. An opening act hasn’t been announced yet. The concert is part of the college’s annual Charter Day celebration, which celebrates the day the college received its royal charter. On Feb. 3, former U.S. Secretary of Defense and William and Mary alumnus Robert M. Gates will deliver the keynote speech at the Charter Day ceremony, set to begin at 4 p.m. in William and Mary Hall. He will be installed as the college’s 24th Chancellor. |
