The Williamsburg Pottery is undergoing a $30 million renovation, as shown in this architect's rendering.
Williamsburg Pottery customers needing custom framing are in luck. Despite being closed for renovations, the Pottery has decided to re-open its framing division this week.

The custom framing services will be offered from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and are temporarily housed inside the entry to the Solar Building.

Customers can access the framing department through the property entrance at the intersection of Route 646/Lightfoot Road and Mooretown Road. The remaining facilities are closed as construction continues on the retail complex’s $30 million renovation.

“This is a true example of ‘back by popular demand,’” said Peter Kao, executive vice president of the Pottery. “The Pottery is renowned for the high quality and unparalleled selection of its custom framing.”

The last phase of the construction project is on schedule, according to spokeswoman Linda Stanier. The official renovation grand opening is set for April 5, with a preview planned in March. The new Pottery will have three retail buildings and a separate restaurant stretching along one-half mile on Richmond Road.

However, if you prefer customer service, expert design choices and the highest quality conservation approaches, Williamsburg Fine Art is the right choice.
