Watson to Hold Telephone Town Hall Tonight

Delegate Mike Watson (R-93rd) will hold a live telephone town hall Thursday evening.

The telephone town hall, the first for Watson, is intended to give his constituents a chance to talk to him live and get answers to any questions they may have on a wide range of topics and share their thoughts on subjects that are important them. Watson's district covers a big part of the Historic Triangle, including the City of Williamsburg and parts of York County and James City County.

"This is a great venue to report back from Richmond to the citizens of the 93rd district on my activities and the status of numerous issues that are being considered by the General Assembly,” Watson said.

"My goal is to have an informative discussion with the folks back home regarding issues that affect our district and the Commonwealth as a whole."

Residents who would like to participate should call toll-free (888) 886-6603 Ext. 17777 at 7 p.m. Thursday. Delegate Watson will provide a short update on current legislation and then answer questions from participants.

Raise the gasoline tax to more effectively address transportation needs across Virginia.

Tolls are taxes, too (Grover Norquist and Bob McDonnell), but they worsen congestion at toll booths.

No tolls, just a modest gas tax increase RESTRICTED for transportation needs.

Why are matters like "Personhood" even being discussed when much larger issues such as Transportation and Education (with huge Economic Development and Quality of Life implications) get punted? Why are social issues like these constantly being raised when folks SAY they want less government?

What do you see as your role in dealing with banks' fraudulently foreclosing on homes?
