Neighborhood Relations Committee Hosts Meeting

The Neighborhood Relations Committee (NRC) invites residents of Williamsburg to share their concerns with the committee from 5-8 p.m. on April 19 in Room C at the Williamsburg Regional Library.

The committee will meet individually with citizens by appointment, limiting appointments to 15 minutes to allow for maximum participation. For more information, please contact Carolyn Murphy at 220-6132 or email her at cmurphy@williamsburgva.gov to schedule an appointment.

The NRC was formed by the City and the College of William and Mary in 2009. Its mission is to monitor and encourage the contributions by the city, college, students, neighbors and landlords to improve the quality of life in the city’s neighborhoods. The group meets once a month. Learn more about the group here.

Join Sustainability Roundtable on April 25

Students at the College of William and Mary are researching how sustainability practices can assist the profitability of Williamsburg’s businesses.

They’re hosting a round table discussion on the topic from 9 to 10 a.m. on April 25 at the Community Building. The students hope to bring Williamsburg businesses together to discuss current and future sustainability projects. The round table will include a guest speaker and small group discussions.
