Focus Group Meets Monday The Northeast Triangle Focus Group will meet to discuss its May 17 public meeting with residents at 2 p.m. Monday in Conference Classroom #1 at the Quarterpath Recreation Center. The group, tasked with coming up with a vision for the northeast area of the city, will also talk about organizing a walking tour of the focus area. Their next meetings will be June 27 and July 25. Planning Commission to Meet with EDA The Williamsburg Planning Commission will have a work session with the Economic Development Authority at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Multipurpose Room #2 at the Quarterpath Recreation Center. The two groups will review the Commercial and Economic Development Plan from the 2006 Comprehensive Plan and the Williamsburg Economic Development Plan from March 2006. They will then discuss major development and redevelopment areas to be included in the 2012 Comprehensive Plan.
