The York County Board of Supervisors is currently accepting applications from county citizens interested in serving on the York County Library Board. The York County Library Board oversees the operations of York County public library services. The Board meets the second Thursday of each month at 3 p.m.York County citizens interested in applying for appointment to the York County Library Board can pick up an application at the County Administrator’s Office at 224 Ballard Street in Yorktown, or by calling 890-3320. Applications can be filed online by visiting the county’s website. Click on On-Line Services, then on Board Bank Application. County Accepting Applications for Video Services Board York County is also looking for residents to apply for the vacant citizen’s seat on the county’s Video Services Board. This is a three-member board with policy oversight for the consolidated video services functions of county government and the York County School Division. York County citizens interested in applying for appointment to the Video Services Board should pick up an application at the County Administrator’s Office at 224 Ballard Street in Yorktown, or call 890-3320. |
